After "Wu Xing" in 2009, we are hosting another composition contest for traditional Chinese (Sizhu) instruments in 2010. Like "Wu Xing", this year's contest relates to a philosophical concept from the Eastern world: "Yin & Yang" . The contest is divided into a Taiwanese part and an international part, for which any composer of any country can apply. There are no application charges. Prizes range from 1000 to 150 USD. The deadline is August 22, 2010. The concert will take place in October 2010.
